Farmland Foods, a highly successful family owned business situated in Manawatu, specialises in the production and supply of a wide range of cooked meats and ham for the supermarket and food service trade throughout New Zealand. Producers of these quality foods since 1964, the company prides itself on its superior products. “If we wouldn’t buy it… we won’t sell it.”
Farmland Foods is all about quality, they came to GASP as they wanted a complete re-brand to take their business to the next level. After a few unsuccessful attempts by other design studios that never got off the ground, they chose GASP to consolidate their new approach, great success. The core principle was to highlight the natural farmfresh nature of their products while maintaining a professional superior product. The pork market is saturated with brands that look the same and contain ingredients that the media has given a lot of adverse attention to. Distinguishing Farmland Foods product from this sector was high on the brief aims.
Brand and Asset Creation
GASP provided a full-service solution. First we created a brand strategy and developed the new Farmland brand identity. Once signed off by the client we then worked through implementing this brand identity across a huge number of print projects including copywriting, taglines, brand story development, business cards, letterheads, pads, company invoices, brochures, product packaging, carton packaging design, labels, expo banners, banner stands, billboards and digital media. We also managed the print production and delivery along the way.
A great result was achieved with smart branding right on the market, with an attractive array of marketing collateral. We worked closely with Farmlands to ensure all designs represented their brand ethos visually, as well as creating a bold satement to the supermarket consumer. As the tagline says, it’s perfect every time.
